EndoManager EMS is Now Available in Epic Toolbox for Endoscope Data Capture

LEE’S SUMMIT, Missouri — October 12, 2026 — NewCura today announced that EndoManager EMS is now available in Epic Toolbox for the Endoscope Data Capture category.

EMS is NewCura’s Enterprise Clinical Imaging Platform for procedural specialties, providing image capture, video recording, storage, and interoperability across the healthcare enterprise. EMS meets Epic’s recommended practices for Endoscopy Data Collection integrations, making it easier for healthcare organizations implementing or evaluating Epic Lumens to discover an enterprise clinical imaging platform designed to support modern endoscopy workflows.

Designed specifically for enterprise healthcare environments, EMS scales from a single procedure room to large integrated delivery networks supporting hundreds or even thousands of image capture endpoints. While EMS is commonly deployed alongside Epic Lumens to support gastrointestinal and pulmonary endoscopy workflows, the platform is designed to support image capture, video recording, storage, and interoperability across numerous procedural specialties, including speech pathology (FEES), otolaryngology (Head & Neck), urology, bronchoscopy, pain management, and other clinical environments requiring enterprise-grade clinical imaging workflows.

Healthcare organizations may utilize EMS as a complete Enterprise Clinical Imaging Platform or integrate it into their existing imaging ecosystem. EMS supports standards-based interoperability with Epic and other healthcare information systems, including compatibility with Epic Gallery, as well as leading third-party Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solutions. This flexibility allows organizations to leverage existing enterprise imaging investments while standardizing procedural image capture across multiple specialties.

EMS provides healthcare organizations with a centralized platform for:

  • Enterprise clinical image and video capture
  • Secure image and video storage
  • Standards-based interoperability with Epic and other healthcare information systems
  • Integration with Epic Gallery and leading third-party VNA and PACS solutions
  • Standardized clinical imaging workflows across multiple procedural specialties
  • Enterprise scalability from a single endoscopy tower to large multi-site health systems

“Healthcare organizations are increasingly looking for enterprise platforms that simplify clinical imaging while supporting interoperability across multiple procedural specialties,” said Evan Doss, Chief Operating Officer of NewCura. “Having EMS available in Epic Toolbox helps organizations implementing or evaluating Epic Lumens more easily discover an Enterprise Clinical Imaging Platform that meets Epic’s recommended practices for Endoscopy Data Collection integrations. Whether supporting a single endoscopy suite or an enterprise deployment spanning hundreds of procedure rooms, EMS provides healthcare organizations with a scalable foundation for clinical image capture, storage, and interoperability while supporting future growth across additional specialties.”

For 27 years, NewCura has helped hospitals, health systems, and ambulatory surgery centers improve procedural imaging workflows through enterprise image capture, storage, and interoperability solutions. EMS reflects that continued commitment by providing a modern enterprise platform that integrates seamlessly into existing healthcare IT environments while simplifying clinical imaging workflows.
