EndoManager® and Oracle Health (Cerner)

EndoManager EMS connects to Oracle Health, formerly Cerner, by HL7, and sends endoscopy images directly to Cerner by batch prep. Orders and patient details come in from Cerner so each image lands on the right patient, and captured images go back to the record without a separate VNA.

How it works

  1. Orders and patient data in (HL7). EMS receives the order, schedule and patient updates from Cerner and puts the patient on the room's worklist.
  2. Capture. Images come from DICOM-capable equipment or an EM4 capture station at the tower.
  3. Images back to Cerner (batch prep). EMS prepares the captured images and sends them directly to Cerner.
  4. Optional archive. EMS can also send copies to a PACS or VNA by DICOM.
